WOW-VT Landowner Forestry Demonstration Project
Are you looking to get planned management activities done on your land?
Are you willing to make your land available as a case study and a demonstration site for future WOW-VT workshops and programs?
This opportunity might be for you!
Women Owning Woodlands (WOW)-VT is pleased to announce a one-time opportunity to work with a Vermont Youth Conservation Crew (VYCC) Forest Project Program team to implement a forestry demonstration project on your land. WOW-VT and VYCC are seeking landowners to help us create a network of forestry demonstration projects on women-owned or women-managed forests in Vermont. Specifically, we are looking for WOW landowners who are interested in working with VYCC’s Forestry Project Program crews to implement forestry and stewardship activities that will serve as a future demonstration site for other women woodland owners. WOW-VT has funding to support the VYCC crew, landowners may incur expenses related to project preparation.
